{"id":3723,"date":"2020-11-05T09:55:44","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T09:55:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/?p=3723"},"modified":"2020-11-05T09:55:44","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T09:55:44","slug":"open-call-for-comments-on-gpai-data-governance-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/en\/open-call-for-comments-on-gpai-data-governance-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Call for comments on GPAI Data Governance Framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Data Governance Working Group is a part of the GPAI, which is on a mission to support and guide the responsible adoption of AI that is grounded in human rights, inclusion, diversity, innovation, economic growth and that will help to achieve the <a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.un.org\/goals\">UN Sustainable Development Goals<\/a>. For this purpose, the Working kicked off two projects in the summer and has so far already prepared a \u201cbeta\u201d version of the Data Governance Framework.<\/p>\n<p>So far, the Framework covers four main areas:<br \/>\n&#8211; The role of data in the AI context;<br \/>\n&#8211; the importance of data governance matters;<br \/>\n&#8211; parameters of data governance;<br \/>\n&#8211; a roadmap for the Working Group\u2019s future work.<\/p>\n<p>Before the Framework is officially presented at December\u2019s summit, the Working Group wishes to further improve it and therefore calls for constructive input from anyone that might be interested in contributing. Comments can be share either directly within<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1_WYj8-tQVVYBYxEa6kKtvlqKogZRpXS3PddZxxR-G4E\/edit\"> the draft document<\/a>\u00a0or can be submitted via email to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montrealinternational.com\/en\/news\/the-global-partnership-on-artificial-intelligence-officially-launched\/\">International Centre of Expertise in Montr\u00e9al for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence<\/a>\u00a0at info@ceimia-icemai.org.<\/p>\n<p>You can find more information about the open call <a href=\"https:\/\/oecd.ai\/wonk\/open-call-input-gpai-data-governance-working-group\">here<\/a>.
