{"id":3919,"date":"2021-03-10T07:50:20","date_gmt":"2021-03-10T07:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/?p=3919"},"modified":"2021-03-10T07:54:40","modified_gmt":"2021-03-10T07:54:40","slug":"data-analytics-tdm-webinars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/en\/data-analytics-tdm-webinars\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Analytics (TDM) Webinars!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EU legislator is conscious of the importance of this field, hence it is regulated in the new <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/HTML\/?uri=CELEX:32019L0790&amp;from=SL\">DSM Directive 2019\/790<\/a>, which introduces two new copyright exceptions for the so-called &#8220;Text and Data Mining&#8221; (TDM).<\/p>\n<p>Here at Intellectual Property Institute (IPI), we undertake to organise several webinars regarding TDM, in particular:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the first one on Friday, 12 March 2021 at 11:00 (you can join the webinar through the following link: https:\/\/teams.live.com\/meet\/94980385203981); and<br \/>\n&#8211; the second one on Monday, 15 March 2021 at 16:00 (you can join the webinar through the following link: https:\/\/teams.live.com\/meet\/9432909018785).<\/p>\n<p>Both webinars will focus on TDM in regards to the right to research and copyright.<\/p>\n<p>You are welcome to attend the webinar in the time-slot that suits you best. The webinars will be held through MS Teams by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/en\/about-ipi\/dr-maja-bogataj-jancic-ll-m-ll-m\/\">dr.
