{"id":4952,"date":"2023-04-07T13:03:09","date_gmt":"2023-04-07T13:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/?p=4952"},"modified":"2023-04-07T13:03:09","modified_gmt":"2023-04-07T13:03:09","slug":"first-meeting-of-the-council-of-the-slovenian-open-science-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ipi.si\/en\/first-meeting-of-the-council-of-the-slovenian-open-science-community\/","title":{"rendered":"First meeting of the Council of the Slovenian Open Science Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Wednesday, 5 April 2023, the first meeting of the Council of the <a href=\"https:\/\/odprtaznanost.si\">Slovenian Open Science Community <\/a>took place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The creation of the Slovenian Open Science Community is not a new joint organisation or consortium of institutions or any other form of formal association, but a voluntary platform for collaboration, coordination and the creation of a critical mass for the unification of infrastructure, services, education and skills, with the aim of achieving sustainability and strengthening collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Intellectual Property Institute and the Open Data and Intellectual Property Institute are members of the Community, and Dr Maja Bogataj Jan\u010di\u010d attended the meeting in this capacity. She presented the <a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/strategy\/strategy-2020-2024\/our-digital-future\/european-research-area_en\">European Research Area<\/a> Action 2 group\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(to which she was appointed on 26.1.2023 by the Ministry of Higer education, Science and Innovation): A research-appropriate EU legislative and regulatory framework on copyright and data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, 5 April 2023, the first meeting of the Council of the Slovenian Open Science Community took place.
