Lecture: Authorship of Professional and Scientific Papers
On 18 March 2021, dr. Maja Bogataj Jančič, LL.M., LL.M. will deliver a lecture on legal and ethical aspects of authorship of professional and scientific papers at the University of Maribor. The lecture is intended for the University of Maribor’s employees.
The lecture will deal with different issues related with the authorship of professional and scientific papers, such as: does practice in the field of professional and scientific publications follow copyright law; what are the sanctions for infringement of moral copyrights; what are the sanctions for infringement of ethical codes. The main goal is to present to the employees what are the conditions for authorship of publications, and to explain the difference between copyright infringement and unethical conduct – plagiarism.
